Professor
Jose Jesus F. Roces Professor Jose Jesus (JJ) F. Roces is a distinguished professor of the Asian Institute of Management, being a member of the core faculty of the Executive Education and Lifelong Learning Center (EXCELL). Professor JJ is one of the renowned experts in Marketing in the Philippines and has served as president of the Philippine Marketing Association, Inc. in 1996, 2000 and most recently in 2001. On top of his marketing experience, Professor Roces also specializes in Finance and Human Resource Development, with particular emphasis on Strategic Marketing, e-Marketing, and CRM. For more than twenty years, Professor Roces has been involved in various
private sector and government organizations with major achievements
in the field of marketing, public relations and promotions, market research
and development, as well as organization development and planning. He
has held senior positions in numerous organizations such as Rockwell
Land Corporation; Ayala Land, Inc.; Tupperware Philippines; and the
Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation. |
| JJ is on the board of the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation
recently being elected as its First Vice President. He is also an active
member of numerous organizations such as the Financial Executives Institute
of the Philippines, the La Salle Greenhills Alumni Association, and the
De La Salle University Alumni Association. He was previously involved
with the Premiere Toastmasters Club, the Philippine Tuberculosis Society
and the Rotary Club.
As an academic, Professor Roces was primarily involved with De La Salle University where he assumed various positions as professor in the Graduate School of Business, and chairman of the Financial Management Department and the Business Management Department of the College of Business and Economics. Professor Roces holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from De La Salle University
(1974). He has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the
University of Miami (1978). He has attended special courses in INSEAD,
