Cheong Kun Pui

Located in Singapore, Cheong Kun Pui has over twenty years of working experience in a diversified field. He was the Marketing Director of a regional healthcare company with an extensive distribution system in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

In conjunction with his senior role in Hoggard International, he is also currently a partner of MarkPlus - a well known strategy consultancy firm in Indonesia with Professor Warren Keegan and Al Ries as its partners. Mr. Hermawan Kartajaya, principal partner of MarkPlus, is also the co-author of marketing guru Professor Philip Kotler's book on 'Repositioning Asia from Bubble to sustainable Economy'. (Released in June 2000).

Recent projects include consulting small medium size enterprises referred by the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board (previously National Productivity Board), Indofood - the world's largest maker of instant noodles, as well as Guangdong Kelon Electrical Holdings the largest refrigeration and air-conditioning company in China

He is also a consultant to the Health Maintenance Office Pte Ltd, which represents a group of 100 doctors involved in the upgrading of medical practices. He was also a project consultant for Woh Hup Noodle House, a family-owned business now taken over by Cerebos Pacific (part of the Suntory Group of Japan). He was the Managing Director of Network Food Pte Ltd, a member of the Upali Group, and agents for Durex and Woodward's Gripewater.

He has worked as the Marketing Manager of Somedico Pte Ltd, a pharmaceutical trading house and agents for a number of well known brands of pharmaceutical products. Prior to this, Cheong Kun Pui was the Quality Control Manager and Production Manager with a contract manufacturer moulding products for brands like VO5, Cheseborough Pond's and Hazeline Snow.


Joseph Tan

Joseph Tan is one of Hoggard International's representatives in Singapore. He obtained his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 1977 from the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario, Canada.

Mr Tan has developed an expertise in areas of strategic planning and marketing in retailing and franchising, change management, and executive training. These areas of knowledge and skill compliment and draw from the experience of the other members of Hoggard International around the globe.

Joseph has completed numerous assignments throughout Asia and was actively involved with the Marketing Institute of Singapore and the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation

 
Gary Lim

Mr. Gary Lim is the Principal Consultant of Gary Lim Consultancy. He has held positions of General Manager, Marketing Manager and Engineering Manager of several multinational companies, including Australian, Japanese and US Fortune 500 companies. The business activities of these companies cover a wide range of industries.

With more than 22 years of corporate experience in these industries, Mr. Gary Lim has extensive knowledge in marketing and management in the Asia/Pacific region. His experience includes 4 years in the Hong Kong regional office covering markets in North East Asia and 18 years in the Singapore office covering markets in the Asia/Pacific, Oceanic and Indian sub-continent regions. The major functions of his jobs in the Asia/Pacific region included market surveys, setting up and supervising distribution and dealer network, negotiating licensing agreements, business development, training, promotion, and ensuring success in market penetration.
Since setting up Gary Lim Consultancy in 1992, Gary has conducted many training seminars on Asian markets in Europe, Australia, South Pacific Islands, South Africa, Middle East, China and other Asian countries. As a marketing consultant, he has provided advice, helping companies establish their markets in Asia.

Mr Lim is an appointed technical expert in international marketing by the Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Singapore and MBA from USA.
