Sam Stembo

Sam Stembo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Hoggard International having been associated with the Company since 1998. In his current role Sam is the Managing Director of Institute of Global Resource Development (INGRED), a non-profit company registered in Sri Lanka, assisting with the capacity and competency building of young people in the region, contributing towards a knowledge society. Sam is also the Managing Director of Consultnet (Private) Limited, a consulting company in management and marketing development, working closely with Hoggard International.

Before assuming his current roles in September 2002, Sam gained valuable experience as the Managing Director of several companies including, Panlanka Networking (Private) Limited and Spacetonet (Private) Limited. He has also been involved as the Director-Educational Projects, Worldview Global Media Limited, the Director/General Manager of Worldview Institute (Private) Limited, and the Executive Director of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing.

Sam is the first and currently the only South Asian to be honoured by the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation and holds membership of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, Canadian Institute of Marketing, Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), Institute of Marketing Management (South Africa). He is a Certified Professional Marketer and a Chartered Marketer (UK). He has presented papers in many local and international forums and is a visiting faculty in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study.

Sam is the Founder and current Vice President of the Association of Certified Professional Marketers (ACPM) that provides a global platform for interaction to Certified Professional Marketers.
